Q: I live locally, do I have to pay for shipping?
A: You don’t! You can select ‘local pick-up’ at checkout in the webstore. There will be no shipping charges. You will receive an email notification once your order is ready which will include details about pick-up times.
Q: How long until my order is ready?
A: Give us up to five business days to pull your order and either ship it or have it ready for local pick-up.
Q: I’d like to select my rope for purchase in-person. What are your store hours?
A: We are not a typical retail store and do not have regular retail hours. If you’ll be attending an event at the studio, you can shop then. If you are not planning to attend any events soon and still want to shop in-person, we suggest swinging by during Easy Sundays Rope Jam or a Tie by Night Rope Jam. The person at the door can help you with your purchase. If none of that works with your schedule, you can email us at voxbody@gmail.com to coordinate with Blue. Everything we have for in-person purchase is also featured on the webstore, so you can preview stock here.
Q: What is your return/exchange policy?
A: If you have received the wrong item, please email us a photo of it along with your order number WITHIN 14 DAYS OF DELIVERY and we will get the correct item on its way to you! If you want to return or exchange an item (because you changed your mind or need another size), customers will be responsible for all added shipping costs. Email us with your order number to initiate a refund/exchange. Once we receive your return, we can send out a replacement. Please note: we cannot refund/exchange for items that have been used, including garments with deodorant marks or obvious wear and scent. Please be mindful when trying anything on and wear undergarments. All refunds/ exchanges need to be initiated WITHIN 14 DAYS OF DELIVERY.
Q: How do I get my rope conditioned by IvyLimieux?
A: Once you make your rope purchase through the webstore, email us at voxbody@gmail.com to be connected to Ivy to pay for her rope treatment services. You will pay her separately. Ivy’s turnaround time is pretty quick, usually within 5 days. Depending on your selection at checkout, we will either ship your order or notify you when it is ready for pick-up. Ivy’s rates for rope conditioning are as follows: $10/length with purchase of Mack's wax (in store), $11/length without Mack’s wax. All conditioning includes: breaking in rope, flame burnishing, jojoba oil and beeswax.
Q: I’d like to try conditioning jute myself, how do I do that?

Q: I need my order yesterday! Don’t you have expedited shipping?
A: We apologize but we do not offer expedited shipping at this time. We move a bit slower than that.
Q: Do you offer international shipping?
A: At this time, we do not ship internationally, sorry. We find international shipping costs currently to be prohibitive.
Q: Can I get a discount code and/or can the shipping costs be waived?
A: We are a small business with a small retail site. We tend to have sales once or twice a year, tho in general we price our merchandise as reasonably as we can. Our shipping costs are EXACTLY the cost of USPS priority shipping; no added handling costs. We know, Amazon has spoiled it for the rest of us, but we simply aren’t able to offer free shipping.
